Proximity, Inc.'s technology is designed to foster the game of golf by adding a closest to the pin/hole-in-one contest to everyone's round of golf every time its played. By promoting the game with the Proximity concept, we will be able to retain those golfers now playing and motivate them to play more often, entice those who have an interest in playing, and increase the overall number of rounds played per year. The Proximity System which will be installed on selected par 3 holes, consists of a small, aesthetically pleasing kiosk located at the tee-box; two, pole mounted cameras near the green, a CPU and a host data base at the corporate offices. Proprietary software controls the system and makes the “close to the pin” measurement.
